Homeowners

Homeowners insurance provides you with financial protection against damages caused by most disasters.

Homeowners insurance is a package policy. This means it covers damage both to your home and to the things you keep in it, and covers your liability or legal responsibility for any injuries and property damage that you or members of your family may cause to others.

Personal Auto

Personal auto insurance protects you against financial loss if you have an accident. It provides protection under four coverage parts:

  • Liability coverage pays for your legal responsibility to others for bodily injury or property damage.
  • Medical coverage pays for the cost of treating injuries, rehabilitation, and, in some cases, for lost wages and funeral expenses.
  • Uninsured motorist coverage can protect you, covered passengers, covered family members, and your insured automobile for damage and bodily injury resulting from a covered accident caused by an uninsured or underinsured driver.
  • Physical damage coverage pays for specified collision losses.

Custom equipment coverage may also be added to your policy. Most states require you to buy some, if not all, of these. If you’re financing a car, your lender may also require you to carry certain types of coverage.
